Jamie IS Jace!

I find it kind of disappointing that this post is even necessary but there you go. Apparently, even though Jamie has been cast as Jace, and filming has already started, he is still getting a lot of grief from some of the fandom who think he will not do the part justice. To start off with,  Jamie is an amazing actor and I think he will be a phenomenal Jace. However, even if he doesn't fit your ideal version of Jace, there is no point in complaining since he IS Jace and no amount of griping is going to change that. The following post was taken from Cassie's Tumblr and is addressing a Twitter trend that we are hoping to achieve.

about not being the right fit for Jace Wayland. While I realize everyone has the right to their personal opinion (I like to

Okay, Shadowhunter fandom, I personally don’t want to let Jamie go on thinking we don’t like him as Jace. 
In fact, I think the most of us LOVE him as Jace. We feel like he IS Jace. So, here’s the plan today. Starting in just under 45 
minutes (10 am Eastern/9 am Central/8 Mountain/7 Pacific/3pm UK time) and going every hour on the hour, we 
will trend the following:

We at The Mortal Institute have been waiting for the right time to do this trend. It seems like just when I think that 
everyone has accepted Jamie, I get these random tweets by people saying otherwise. I don’t want to put on the 
attitude of “Oh, well, deal with it”, but the fact of the matter is Jamie will be playing Jace and there are thousands of us 
who think we will do a great job. AND I don’t want ANYONE supporting this trend to be mean spirited. We are

So, Shadowhunters, SPREAD THE WORD!!! Let’s get this to #1 WWTT as many times as we can today!!!

So anyway, let's show Jamie that even though there may be some stubborn idiots in our fandom as there are in every fandom, they do not rule ours. Please spread the word, Jamie does not deserve the amount of criticism he has received from so called fans. Remember...

I can't wait to hear all the haters change their tune when the movie comes out and they see just how amazing Jamie is.
